About Jazzy's Decorations

I’m Jazmin Torres, owner of Jazzy’s Decorations.
Big celebrations have always been an important part of my life and I have many fond memories of all the fun parties I attended growing up. As a native Mexican, I was raised to celebrate every milestone in fun, colorful, lavish ways – and I believe you should, too!
The “a-ha” moment for Jazzy’s Decorations came when I was planning my son’s 8th Birthday party. I wanted to have something unique and memorable – not only for him, but also for the guests. I wanted his party to have that “wow-factor” – something so magical and special that he would remember that birthday forever.
Having a unique vision in my mind, it was very frustrating to not be able to find what I was looking for when it came to his party décor. It was then that I decided to explore the world of high-end balloons and decorations. And that’s how I discovered balloon artistry.
After the success of my son’s birthday party I felt inspired and encouraged so I started creating balloon designs for small events hosted by my friends and associates. I never saw myself as an entrepreneur, let alone a professional decorator, but word got out, and today Jazzy’s Decorations is known for bringing the magic to your event with luxe décor that sets the mood, looks amazing in photographs, and makes you the envy of your friends! My passion for making things beautiful is evident in every detail of my work.

Accreditations
In addition to my Business Management degree, and my Accredited Event Designer (AED) certification, I am in the process of becoming your go-to Certified Balloon Artist (CBA) in Kalamazoo, MI. This means that I will have practiced and learned how to work with balloons in different environments for at least three years while applying the principals and elements of design, the color wheel, and various balloon techniques and mechanics supported by Qualatex, the world’s leading balloon manufacturer.
